At Hope Springs Smallholding, everything begins with the land. Nestled in the quiet countryside of Chiddingly, we grow our produce with care, patience, and a deep respect for traditional smallholding values. Nothing rushed, nothing forced — just good food, grown the way it always used to be.

We use produce grown right here on the smallholding, ensuring the quality and full, vibrant flavour you’d expect from truly home-grown vegetables and fruit. From the heat of our chillies to the sweetness of our seasonal harvests, every jar captures the natural richness of what we grow.

Our chutneys and preserves are handmade in small batches, using simple, traditional recipes and long, slow cooking to develop depth and character. No shortcuts, no artificial additives — just honest ingredients and careful craft.

Each jar reflects the rhythm of the seasons, the health of the soil, and the pride we take in producing food with real integrity. Whether you’re serving it with supper, gifting it to someone special, or keeping it for yourself (we won’t tell!), we hope our chutneys and preserves bring a touch  rustic comfort and genuine flavour to your table.
